About Us

Founded by company president Ray Maietta, Ph.D. in 1996, ResearchTalk partners with qualitative researchers across industries and disciplines to complement their substantive insight with our qualitative methods expertise.

ResearchTalk’s mentor team has over 100 years’ combined experience in guiding qualitative researchers in academia, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies and companies large and small across the life of their qualitative projects. If you’re feeling isolated in your qualitative work, register for our courses or contact us to learn more about how we can partner with you to refine your knowledge and skills and help you meet your project goals and deadlines.

Our consultants and scholar instructors are dedicated to helping you expand and evolve your understanding of day-to-day life and lived experience. We share this passion via our professional development courses and service offerings. Our annual Qualitative Research Summer Intensive features 18 courses, taught by leading scholars in qualitative inquiry, that cover foundation principles and practices of the field. ResearchTalk’s proprietary Sort and Sift, Think and Shift qualitative inquiry method informs our qualitative research services and qualitative camps by privileging emergent discovery via compelling data-based evidence.
